Travel Theme: Big

Well, here is another BIG. 700+ year old Fir treee In this case it is a Douglas Fir, first growth taken in the Mt. Baker National Forest. It was 730 years old when it was cut down. It was seeded in 13th century and grew to 8 feet, 2 inches in diameter.  We don’t know how tall it got but at least a couple of hundred feet.
